High -risk sex offender which has been the subject of a public warning by Vancouver police Thursday is now sought after on a mandate across Canada.
Hayden McCorriston, 30, was seen for the last time leaving his house halfway on Homer Street, in downtown Vancouver, at 10:25 am Friday.

Police said in a press release at 3:15 p.m. that McCorriston had not returned, and a mandate was issued for his arrest by Correctional Services Canada.
It is described as being about five feet 11 inches high with a thin construction and a shaved head. It was seen for the last time bearing a blue surgical mask, a black hat, a black sleeve shirt, dark blue or black pants and black shoes with white soles.
Anyone who sees McCorriston is invited to immediately call 9-1-1.
