Zelle returns to the service after a breakdown for customers in certain banks due to the fact that the popular payment platform in Peer-to-Peer attributed to a problem in another company.
DowndeTector, which allows users to follow the breakdowns, has shown a Pike among customers reporting payment problems From Friday morning before starting a little in the afternoon.
A spokesperson for Zelle confirmed the problem in a statement at CNN and said the problem concerned the FISERV payments giant, which provides services to certain banks.
“Earlier in the day, we experienced an internal problem that temporarily disrupted the service,” a spokesperson for FISERV told CNN. “The problem has since been resolved, and we are now working to treat the backlog.”
FISERV said that the breakdown was not the result of a malicious activity, and that it strives to prevent a similar problem in the future.
Zelle’s spokesman said the payment service worked with his partners to resolve the issue.
“Zelle users can see transactions marked as a” pending payment “in the meantime,” said the spokesperson.
Zelle did not say what special banks are affected. However, DowndeTector users from Trist and Navy Federal Credit Union reported problems.
A trout client complained about Downdetector that his rent payment has been on hold since Thursday evening.
“I have the impression that my money is simply floating and that no one will help you or will take no responsibility!” The user said.
Representatives of several banks returned CNN to Zelle.
Bank of America Matthew Card spokesperson confirmed that some customers were in trouble with Zelle.
“Earlier in the day, some customers have been delayed in sending and receiving certain payments,” Card told CNN. “This was a question related to the supplier who affected several banks. The problem was resolved.”
Americans use Zelle to instantly zip billions of dollars a day.
Zelle belongs to Early Warning Services (EWS), co -owner by Big Banks, notably Jpmorgan Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
