The roll of Easter eggs from the White House of this year will include high partnerships with YouTube, Meta and Amazon, among others, highlighting the close relations that the leaders of these technological companies have sought to cultivate with the Trump administration.
The White House, through an outdoor production company called Harbinger, requested business sponsors on Monday for the traditional spring event ranging from $ 75,000 to $ 200,000, with the promise of logo and brand opportunities, according to a nine -page document sent to potential sponsors and Reported for the first time by CNN last month.
Several large companies and American technological associations have registered, according to an official press release from the White House on the event sent by the first lady’s office on Friday.
The egg jet has been funded by private dollars for taxpayers for many years. All the money collected by Harbinger will go to the White House Historical Association.
Friday’s release highlights a “range of entertainment activities thanks to the White House Historical Association and its partnerships”.
This includes, according to the White House, a “reading corner, gracked Amazon”; the “rabbit scene, graciousness of Youtube”; “Experience fueled by AI and photo opportunity, graciousness of Meta”; And a “ringtone of the opportunity to photo of Bell, graciousness of the New York Stock Exchange”.
These sponsorships come while these leaders of Silicon Valley, who donated to the Trump inaugural fund, have lost billions of values as markets – from NYSE to others around the world – have known volatility following the prices of President Donald Trump.
“The participation of YouTube in the rolling stock of the Easter eggs of the White House has become an annual tradition, and we do so in accordance with the administration process,” said a spokesperson for YouTube in a press release at CNN. “Our goal is to provide children with the opportunity to meet their favorite creators, and we are impatient to present themselves once again this year.”
Amazon refused to comment. CNN has also contacted other technological companies.
The table of American eggs, which has long supported the event, once again provides the 30,000 hard eggs, as well as a “garden coffee for tasty treats”.
Other sponsors include the Toy Association, the International Fresh Produce Association and the National Confectioneurs Association.
Signature Brands, LLC, owner of the Betty Crocker brand, will provide a cookie decoration station and Gala is organizing a digital egg hunting game.
The solicitation of sponsorships marks an unprecedented offer of business brand opportunities on the White House field, going against the longtime stomach regulations Prohibit the use of the public service for private purposes.
The potential sponsors were offered possibilities of “named the right for the fields or key elements”, “Logos presented on the signaling of events”, “Personalized brand baskets, snacks / drinks or souvenirs” and “Mentions in official communications of events and publications on social networks”.
Looking at the Pitch Harbinger’s document last month, Richard Painter, who served in the office of the White House lawyer under President George W. Bush, told CNN that “would not have crossed the lawyer’s office”.
