The female complainant in the High -level world junior sexual assault The trial rejected defense complaints on Friday that its version of events is constantly changing.
Friday, the sixth consecutive day marked that the 27 -year -old woman, whose identity is protected by a standard publication ban, was on the Stand for Michael McLeod’s trial, Carter Hart, Alex formenton, Dillon Dube and Callan Fote.
The five men pleaded not guilty to accusations of sexual assault resulting from the fact that the alleged crown was a non -consensual group sex in June 2018. McLeod also pleaded not guilty of an additional accusation of being a party to the violation of sexual assault.
The complainant, who has appeared practically since last Friday in a courtroom in London, Ontario, has been counter-examining since Monday; The lawyers for the defense of men can each question the woman, although they have said that they would do their best so as not to overlap with each other during the cross-examination.
Dan Brown, a lawyer for form, continued her US counter-examination, as she knows in court documents on Friday and suggested at the start of the court that a part of the reason why the counter-interrogation takes so long is because EM does not answer questions directly.
EM, who has often developed in his answers, replied that it was his opportunity to “defend me”. Brown arrested and the judge of the Superior Court, Maria Carroccia, asked her to answer the questions directly.

Brown is zero on Friday on shortcomings in her memory of the night when she met McLeod and her teammates in a bar in downtown London on June 18, 2018; The court heard that the team was in town for events marking its golden performance in the championship this year, and EM was with friends at the time when they met.
EM had trouble identifying the players when Brown crossed safety images of them entering the bar that evening; Form was not at the bar that evening, the court learned because he was a minor.
Brown questioned the number of alcoholic drinks she had bought for herself; In her testimony, EM said that she only bought herself two shots that evening and had not paid for other drinks that she had drunk. Brown has shown her safety images of her walking to the automatic counter, eliminating money and buying drinks after having these photos.

He suggested that she was trying to minimize how much she drank that night, to which EM replied, admitting that she did not mention it, but not intentionally.
“Your truth is changing, that’s the problem,” said Brown.
“No, my truth has not changed,” said EM.
Em knew the bouncer at the bar, the court hears
EM, who was 20 years old at the time, said that she was drunk and not clear minds at the night of the alleged incident.
The court learned on Friday that EM knew a bouncer at the bar that worked that evening; EM mentioned the bouncer for the first time in a letter to the London police last March after watching video sequences for the first time when preparing the trial.
She said in the letter that she did not mention it because he would have no knowledge of what had happened, was concerned about her private life and did not want to involve it.
Brown has shown video sequences that show the two in interaction at certain times of the night. In a video, EM acts to the bouncer while it goes to the automatic counter.

Brown suggested that she had never mentioned the bouncer to the police in 2018 and 2022 because “you did not think he would help your story”. He also suggested that she did not mention it because he saw her buy drinks for herself and that she had the choice to approach him to get help that evening but did not do it.
EM said that she did not want to involve it in what was going on and that she is not the type to involve others in her own problems. She added that she would have mentioned it if she thought he had something to offer on what had happened in the hotel room, which she said that was what she meant in this letter.
Brown challenged her assertion that she was separated from her friends and suggested looking at security images that she left them alone. EM replied that she had left them, but would not have done it if she was not approached by one of the men.
“It’s always someone else’s fault,” said Brown.
“No,” replied Em.
Counter-examination to continue
EM should not get out of the stand soon with two other defense lawyers who are still waiting to question it.
After being with McLeod and his teammates at the bar, Em was going to have consensual sex with McLeod in his room at the Delta hotel early on the morning of June 19.
The woman testified that she was naked and afraid when the men she did not know started to enter the hotel room after having consensual sex. The crown alleys that McLeod sent messages to players in a group conversation, inviting them to the room for a “3 way” after having sex.

The complainant described in progress on “automatic pilot” and feeling that she was looking at herself from the outside of her body when she engaged in sexual acts with men. She said that the men did not prevent him physically from leaving, but would have been in love to stay.
Meanwhile, defense lawyers suggested that the woman asked McLeod to call her friends in the room because she wanted a “wild night”, and they suggested that she had “twisted” her words over time to worsen the alleged incident.
EM, who melted in tears towards the end of the day on Wednesday, rejected these claims.
