World Rugby announced an exclusive rights to the rights of several years and multi-platform with CBS Sports for Paramount + to become the American house for all the events of world male and female rugby until 2029, including the next three rugby world cup games and all the national matches of the United States. Under the agreement, Paramount + will broadcast each match live with selected matches broadcast on CBS and CBS Sports Network.
As a national destination for global rugby competitions, Paramount + will broadcast an exclusive live coverage of CBS Sports of the Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2025 and 2029, the Men’s Rugby World Cup in 2027 and premium annual competitions, including HSBC SVNS, WXV, the Cup of Pacific Nations, the Pacific Oven and the Masculine Champion.
