Grand Junction, Colorado (KJCT) – The Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) received a childhood mistreatment report on March 20.
GJPD officers and detectives investigated a company, located in the 500 ½ road block, where allegations were made of a member of the staff engaged in driving in accordance with children’s abuse.
The detectives found a probable cause to stop the suspect, Sierrah Cordova, 21.
Cordova was arrested by the police after the conclusion of the investigation on March 28. She is currently detained at the Mesa County detention center, where she faces the following accusations:
- Children’s mistreatment – know / recklessly – no injury
- Children’s mistreatment – know / reckless – injury
- 2nd degree assault – the intention of causing bodily injuries by strangulation
According to CRS 24-72-304 (4.5) (A), the GJPD is unable to release the exact address of the incident.
