Woman airlifted to hospital after car crash in Mission, British Columbia – BC

RCMP say officers are investigating a Boxing Day accident in Assignmentin British Columbia after a woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

Mission RCMP say in a news release sent Thursday afternoon that the collision occurred before noon and the stop occurred. Lougheed Highway between Nelson Street and Oliver Street in both directions.

Police say initial indications suggest a vehicle hydroplaned and struck a vehicle in the oncoming lane.
