A woman has been accused of second degree murder in the Death of a television journalist Last month, when he was on a mission to cover the Super Bowl in New Orleans, the authorities announced on Tuesday.

The authorities said Colbert had been captured on a surveillance video entering Manzano’s hotel room with him the last time he was seen alive. They also alleged that she had been taken with her phone and credit cards.
On Tuesday, an accusation of second degree murder was added against Colbert and the police said that an alleged accomplice had also been arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for fraud and theft accusations.

“The two are depressants of the central nervous system, and when you add them, they are really bad,” said the coroner. “One of the dangers is that you find yourself in a position where you clog your ability to breathe.”
Conley said he was “very confident” that the authorities had enough evidence to continue Colbert successfully for murder, although he refused to discuss the details of their case.
Colbert’s lawyer, Stavros Panagoulopoulos, did not respond to a request for comment from the Associated Press.
