Charcuterie, bakery and other hot catering services from the entire Foods store in Cupertino remain in suspension a few days after health officials have found proof of rodent infestation – including fresh excrement in the kitchen preparation areas and meals.

Empty food windows can be seen inside the store on Saturday. A panel inside the cases indicates that the ministry is temporarily closed for maintenance work.

“Food security is our top priority,” says the sign. “We work to restore services as quickly as possible while ensuring that we meet all security standards.”

Asked about the reopening of the updates of this press organization, the store staff directed all the questions to the representatives of the company. A Whole Foods spokesperson had not responded at the end of Saturday afternoon.

The rest of the store remains open to the public.

The store, which is located at 20955 Stevens Creek Blvd, temporarily suspended these departments on April 7, following inspections from the County Department of Santa Clara.

Health inspectors visited the store for the first time on March 25 and 26, And observed fresh rodents in several areas of the delicatessen section, including the equipment preparation and storage area, at the back of the house and by doors separating the corridor into the main sales floor. The inspectors also found several snapshots behind and under the equipment.

According to the report, the bakery section had several living cockroaches near the dishwasher and under the sink of the compartment on the other side of the wall. Two dead cockroaches were also on a wall behind a grid holding the dishes.

According to the county, the food installation must remain closed until there is no more evidence of an infestation, all the contaminated surfaces have been cleaned and disinfected; and contributory factors such as cleaning, repairs and the elimination of interests have been resolved.

The Cupertino store is one of the largest whole food in California and opened in 2007.

This is a story in development, come back for updates.
