BACK in January Donald Trump signed the executive decree 14187, entitled “Protect children from chemical and surgical mutilation”. He asked the insurance programs managed by the federal government to exclude coverage of the treatment of gender transition for minors. The order was aimed at preventing institutions which also receive federal subsidies from providing such treatments. Trump also ordered the Ministry of Health and Social Services (Hhs) To publish, within 90 days, a review of the literature on best practices concerning “identity -based confusion” in children. The ban on federal funding was then blocked by a judge, but the exam was published on May 1.
