There are many events this weekend to help brighten up the gloom we are living in Milwaukee this week. The Mke Spring Gallery Night event will transform the city’s bars, restaurants and local stores into miniature art galleries, offering a unique way to simultaneously discover the diversified artistic and culinary scene of Milwaukee. Life -size dinosaurs animatronics take control Baird center For the adventure of Dinosaur, and the Fetit National Ice Center will be filled with high -flying drones for Ice Storm drone races.
April 11-12: Spring Gallery Night Mke
Milwaukee’s original gallery hops event returns for its spring season! Restaurants, bars and local stores will integrate small art galleries into their usual operations, allowing customers to discover the diversified artistic scene of Milwaukee as well as to discover a variety of companies throughout the city. The participating districts include the Third historic district,, East-cityWalker’s Point and Downtown. April 11-13: “Sleeping Beauty” by Milwaukee Ballet
Milwaukee ballet‘s Michael Pink Put a story of the classic timeless ballet Sleeping Beauty. A fairy tale filled with romance, Sleepy beauty Tells the story of Princess Aurora, who is cursed at eternal rest at her sixteenth birthday. The only remedy: a kiss from a prince. April 11-13: Ice Storm Drone Races

The largest Milwaukee drone race competition will face school teams and professional pilots against each other inside the Petit National Ice Center. Competitors will participate in a variety of races, including the drone race, the closed course race (with two Olympic skating rinks connected by a tunnel) and the Pit Challenge. April 12: Milwaukee marathon
The Milwaukee marathon gives runners a chance to participate in the marathon, half-marathon and 5K events. This event aims to celebrate the various districts of Milwaukee, with the marathon and the half-marathon starting at Harbor Drive and finishing in Humboldt Park and the start and finish of 5 km at Washington Park. April 12-13: Dinosaur adventure
Return in time to the prehistoric age of the Baird Center, where the animatronics of life -size dinosaurs will give families a realistic representation of the creatures that roamed the planet well before us. Dinosaur Adventure will also include interactive stations such as fossil excavations, a precious stone mine, a facial paint and more. Entrance is $ 27 for adults and $ 32 for children. 414Flea will settle in Zocolo Food Truck Park and will include more than 40 unique suppliers selling hand manufactured products, vintage items and more. The parking trucks of the park will be open for business, and a live DJ will provide the soundtrack of your purchases. The event is free and will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
