The danger appears to have been averted, but the former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli isn’t quite ready to leave the hospital. The cricketer had to be admitted to a hospital in Thane after his health deteriorated. The former Indian star is said to be “fine” now. His friend Marcus Couto shared important updates from the hospital. Even though Kambli is doing better at present, Couto requested the hospital to keep the former cricketer in the hospital for about a month, especially since someone else has promised to take cover his medical bills.
“Kambli is fine now. He is suffering from a urinary infection and was admitted to the hospital on Saturday. I met him at the hospital today,” Couto told Times of India from Bombay.
“I told them to treat him in the hospital for a month because he has many health problems. Since someone is willing to spend money on his treatment, why not?” Added Couto.
“We always had an image in our mind of sir (Vinod Kambli) playing cricket. So this inspired us that sir needs us and so the entire team decided to do something for sir. He keeps on giving us tell his good memories”, said M. » said the doctor of Akruti Hospital.
Kambli also thanked the hospital’s medical team for “keeping him alive.”
“It’s because of the doctor here that I’m alive… All I’ll say is that I’ll do whatever the gentleman (referring to the doctor) asks of me. People will see the inspiration I give them will give,” he said. .
