A great fight that seemed to involve at least a dozen fans broke out in a man university basketball play between Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and Saint Louis Tuesday, causing the game stopping for a number of minutes.
With Saint Louis leading 69-63 and 1:10 to play, a fight in Chaifetz Arena in Missouri landed on rows of seats and on the ground near the VCU bench. We do not know what caused the breakdown of the fight.
Security and the police quickly rushed to try to break it, while the players on the field stayed in their stories. CBS sports cover also picked up other fans who apparently flow those involved in the fight.
VCU made no comments on the incident. CNN also contacted Saint-Louis University to comment.
