Veterans using MyHealtheVet to manage their health care will notice changes as the platform transitions to VA.gov this year.
The updates are designed to provide a more secure and streamlined experience, ensuring Veterans can access benefits, refill prescriptions, schedule appointments and more, all from one secure account.
As changes are rolled out, navigating them may seem overwhelming, but local support is available. The VA Boston Healthcare System’s Virtual Health Resource Centers are here to help Veterans seamlessly transition to using Login.gov or ID.me, the secure platforms required to access VA online services.
How can virtual health resource centers help you?
The VHRC is a local, in-person resource available at all VA Boston locations, providing personalized support with:
- Transitioning MyHealtheVet Accounts to VA.gov
- Setting up and verifying Login.gov or ID.me accounts
- Navigating VA apps, such as Annie and My VA Images
- Using VA-Issued iPads for Virtual Care
- Understanding tools like VA Video Connect for remote appointments
For many veterans, the sign-in process involves identity verification, a step that protects against unauthorized access to benefits and health records. VHRC staff can guide you through this process, answer your questions, and ensure you are ready to manage your VA services safely and efficiently.
