Tyler, Texas (KLTV) – The Cowan Center announced that their 2025-26 season will include big names, such as Rob Lowe, Randy Rogers Band, Robert Earl Keen, Mavis Staples and Darlene Love.
The new season has been entitled “Big Name, Big Entertainment”, and Ut Tyler says that he will offer entertainment legends and legendary performance.
“I am so excited by everything this season has to offer,” said UT Tyler president Julie V. Philley, MD. “We are honored to present these world class talents so that the public in eastern Texas can take advantage of them. We want the Cowan Center to be widely used, so we have designed a season that has a wide appeal. ”
“We are delighted today to announce the full season, 21 programs for the coming year, with really something for everyone,” said the vice-president of marketing at the UT Tyler Jeff Nobitt.
“I think the Cowan Center is really a part, a key element, to bring the arts and to raise the culture of eastern Texas,” he added. “This season, we are celebrating certain artists from Texas and we are also coming from artists from around the world.”
The subscriptions for the new season will be on sale on June 23, and more details can be found on the Cowan Center website.

The new season includes the Grammy® Award winners and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inducted Darlene Love and Mavis Staples. Especially known for the festival classic “Christmas (Baby please go home)”, Rolling Stone magazine calls Love “one of the biggest singers of all time”. Staples, who will perform with Shemekia Copeland, is also a blues Hall of Famer, the winner of the Kennedy Center and a recipient of life achievements of the Arts Arts which is known for successes such as “I will take you there.”
Rob Lowe will be the only speaker in the series of distinguished conferences. Lowe’s emblematic career covers four decades in cinema, television and theater, and he is also an acclaimed author. It was nominated for two EMMYS®, six Golden Globes® and Four Screen Actors Guild Awards, of which he won two.
The other notable appearances this season include the legends of Country Le Randy Rogers Band music, which has spent more than 20 years bringing Texas Country tradition to fans around the world, and Robert Earl Keen, with 21 discs in its name, a group of stellar musicians and thousands of shows to its credit.
