All paths lead to Nashville for the final of the NTT Indycar Series 2025
Penske Entertainment Corp. And Scott Borchetta of Big Machine jointly announced on January 23 an updated event structure for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix:
- Penske Entertainment will assume responsibility for promoting the Nashville Superspeedway race weekend.
- Big Machine will remain the privileged partner of the event, continuing to improve the connectivity of the event with the entertainment industry and the city center of Nashville.
- Anne Fischgrund, director of Penske Entertainment, was appointed president of the Grand Prix Big Machine Music City.
Big Machine was the initial partner of the event during its first three editions and has strengthened its additional promoter capacity while the race weekend passed to Nashville Superspeedway last year. In the future, its continuous involvement as a privileged partner will be an asset for an exciting musical programming and to highlight the artists, products and community efforts of brands. The CEO of “All Things” Big Machine, Scott Bornchetta, will also serve as a connection with the entertainment community and the Civic leaders of Nashville, keeping the event entirely connected to Music City.
After a successful beginnings on the famous Nashville Superspeedway last season, the Grand Prix Big Machine Music City will continue as a final of the NTT Indycar Series 2025, which will take place on Sunday August 31 with a window of the national network on Fox. The final of the Indy NXT by Firestone 2025 will present that day the race of the NTT Indycar Series championship.

An exciting final of the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix 2024 championship produced the best Indycar Series numbers never recorded at the Nashville Superspeedway, including the largest number of passes on track, passes for the position, passes in the top 10 and Pass through the top five. Colton Herta won his first victory over an oval while Alex Palou celebrated his third NTT Indycar Series championship.
The event was also underlined by a street festival alongside the emblematic Honky-Tonks in Nashville, including the Battle on Broadway Pit Stop Challenge, to start the championship weekend.

In addition, Anne Fischgrund, an experienced framework of motorsport, assumes the role of president of the Grand Prix Big Machine Music City. Fischgrund moves from Indianapolis to Nashville after her successful mandate as Director General of the Indycar Race Weekend Hy-Vae at Iowa Speedway.
Penske Entertainment continues to give priority to an improved NTT Indycar Series calendar, taking advantage of new partnerships and strategic investments. In October, she unveiled the Indycar Grand Prix of Arlington, propelled by a unique joint venture with the Dallas Cowboys and the Rangers of Texas. In November, she announced the acquisition of the Grand Prix Acura Long Beach before its epic edition of the 50th anniversary in April.
This year, the 17 NTT Indycar Series races will be broadcast on Fox, starting with the opening of the season on Sunday March 2 at the Firestone Grand Prix in Saint Petersburg presented by RP Funding in the streets of Saint Petersburg.
