Unparalleled sports, an emerging leader in the sports sector for young people thanks to its rooted strategy of operators and sports facilities, has achieved substantial funding of $ 120 million USD ($ 185 million AUD) led by Dick’s Sporting Goods.
This investment round has also seen the continuous support of the foundation of the investor The Chernin Group, alongside new contributions from Dynasty Equity, Liontree and Miller Sports & Entertainment.
Commenting on the funds collected, President and CEO of unmatched sports and former executive of Nike, Andy Campion, said: “Dick’s mission, since its creation, has been to have a positive impact on the life of children through sport.”
“Our goal of bringing them on board was focused on this shared vision,” said Campion.
This recent investment was finalized a little more than a year after the establishment of the company in March 2024, with the support of the majority owners David Blitzer and Josh Harris.
The involvement of the Miller family was suggested last month, following its acquisition of Real Salt Lake of Blitzer.
By making this announcement, Miller Sports & Entertainment expressed his commitment to improve the sports infrastructure of UTAH young people in partnership with Undisvalied.
During its inaugural year, Undesvalied organized a diversified portfolio, including Ripken Baseball, CoopStown All Star Village, Under the Light Flag Football, and Rocker B Ranch, with a range covering 30 states and serving more than 600,000 young athletes per year.
Currently, Unvalled has focused on establishing a dominant presence in baseball / softball and flag football, the latter undergoing a 30% increase in the participation from one year to the next.
Campion sees opportunities for expansion in these strong segments, in particular by stressing the upcoming accommodation of the first national girls’ championship in Lycée in Football Drapeau this summer.
