A new technology -oriented innovation division arrives at UFL.
The League announced on Wednesday the creation of Fast (advancement of football through sports technology) as the 2025 season approaches. Fast will work with sports media and technological companies to test, develop and launch products intended to advance the football game.
“Innovation is the cornerstone of the United Football League,” said the main vice-president of UFL Scott Harniman technology in a press release. “”FAST Will create a plan for companies with products and services designed to have a positive impact on how professional football is played, trained and consumed by fans. “”
The eight UFL teams are currently in the middle of the training camp and practices, which take place in Arlington, Texas. FAST will provide its partners with access to more than 600 players and coaches for tests and development and will use Choctaw stadium as a test location.
FAST Will focus mainly on three key areas of the 2025 season by associating with the following partners:
- Mindfly will provide an immersive player pov camera.
- Jurisdiction will use computer vision to provide tracking data.
- Spur will offer the follow -up of balls and players based on sensors.
“The ultimate goal of FAST Will be to reduce product development cycles and test, innovations and door and launch services that have the capacity to bring the game to a new level, “said Brad Campbell, vice-president of UFL football technology.
The UFL 2025 season is expected to start on March 28 when St. Louis’ Battlehawks will face Houston on Fox.
