Two foreign nationals, one with a lawful lawful residence in the United States, were charged by a great jury of the Wisconsin for trying to pass hidden US military China technology, including encrypted communication equipment.
Nowsweek contacted the Ministry of Justice (Doj) to comment by email on Saturday.

The acts of accusation raise serious allegations of foreign espionage, efforts to suppress freedom of expression and threats to national security.
The United States and China have a tense diplomatic relationship, amplified by current disputes on trade, technology and military activity near Taiwan. The Beijing Minister of Defense was notably absent from the Shangri-La dialogue in Singapore this weekend.
The United States has the most powerful army in the world, supported by the largest defense budget and advanced technology. China, however, has the largest soldier by personnel, with around 2.2 million members in active service.

Court documents examined by Nowsweek Allergy that since 2023, John Miller, 63 years old, and Cui Guanghai, 43 Xi Jinping and the Government of the RPC. “”
Two distinct large juries, one in the Wisconsin and one in California, charged Miller and Guanghai on this subject. In Wisconsin, the Grand Jury alleges that men conspired “to obtain illegally and to export various articles of defense of the United States to the People’s Republic of China without the required licenses of the State Department”, as well as “defense defense articles” from the United States to China.

Sub-procurer General Todd Blanche said in the Doj press release: “This is a blatant aggression both on our national security and our democratic values. This Ministry of Justice will not tolerate foreign repression on American soil, and we will not allow hostile nations to infiltrate or exploit our defense systems. We will act decisively to expose and dismantle these threats when they emerge.”
Deputy Director of FBI, Dan Bongino, said in the MJ press release: “The defendants would have plotted to harass and interfere with an individual who criticized the actions of the People’s Republic of China while exercising their rights of freedom of expression protected by the Constitution in the United States of America.
What happens next?
If they are found guilty, the two men risk up to five years in conspiracy, five years for interstate harassment, 20 years for violation of the law on arms control and 10 years for smuggling.
The DoJ press release said the United States is coordinating with Serbian officials to extradite Miller and Guanghai from Serbia.
