President Trump signed an executive decree on Tuesday which reaffirmed a priority of his first mandate: to make prices for health care public and easier to understand for people.
THE executive decree Promises a “radical transparency” on health care prices for patients by ordering the Treasury, Labor and Health and Social Services departments “to quickly implement and apply the transparency prices regulations health”.
During Trump’s first term, his administration adopted the federal authority to demand hospitals and health insurance companies in disclose prices They had long been confidential. This authority is, ironically, devoted to the affordable care law, which was signed by former president Obama and whom the Republicans and Trump tried to repeal in 2017.
