President Donald Trump Celebrated Sunday after the chief of the German conservative opposition Friedrich Merz won the victory during a national election, oubling the social democratic Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
“It looks like the conservative party in Germany won the very long eagerly awaited elections,” wrote Trump in an article on Truth Social. “Just like the United States, the People from Germany I got tired of the No Common Sense agenda, in particular energy and immigration, which has been prevailing for so many years.
“It’s a big day for Germany and for the United States of America under the direction of a gentleman named Donald J. Trump,” he added. “Congratulations to everyone – Many more victories to follow !!!”
The Christian Christian Democratic Union in the center-right of Germany (CDU) won the national elections on Sunday, with the right-wing alternative for Germany (AFD) finishing a second second, according to exit polls.

THE instant election came then that the European nation is struggling with illegal immigration and a sour economy. CDU chief, Merz, should take a more difficult line than Scholz on immigration, but not as much as AFD supporters.
Merz, whose party has obtained approximately 29% of the vote, must form a coalition with one or more other parties, but said that he would not do it with AFD.

Merz said that he would perform a 15 -point plan to fight immigration, including borders tightening and expulsion of rejected asylum seekers. AFD wants to expel migrants en masse.
Although AFD can be frozen with the new coalition, it has doubled its total voting compared to the last elections.
