As we focus more on sticking to a strict fitness regime, we sometimes tend to forget the basics. We end up skipping breakfast, lunch due to lack of time, sleeping less than the required time and more. While your 20s are usually filled with vibrant energy to participate in multiple activities, turning 30 can mark the beginning of change. Our bodies start to feel a little tired when we reach our mid-30s, which leads to less interest in active participation. If you are facing similar health issues in your life, don’t worry, nutritionist Anjali Mukerjee is here for you.
Anjali Mukerjee sat down for a chat with Kunal Jaisingh and host Rohit Bose Roy for a YouTube show on How Nutrition Can Really Change Everything. In a clip shared on Instagram, she says: “At 30-35 you’re a little tired, your skin is a little dull, you have indigestion, you probably have acidity, sometimes your protein value is weak. Most of the Indian population is low in protein. So you need to increase your protein intake if you want to be healthy. So some eat on the go, eat sweets, eat fried foods. So this is normal life, right? But if you just grind the basics.
When Rohit Bose Roy asked her to elaborate on what the basics are, Anjali Mukerjee replied, “For the basics, the first thing is hydration, for example. » Then she asks a few questions: “Do you drink two to three liters of water? Are you getting enough protein during the day? Are you getting enough fiber during the day? Are you eating enough fruits and vegetables?
The host further wonders if the coffee is good. To which the nutritionist responds: “Fortunately, black coffee is fine. »
Sharing the video on her social media, Anjali wrote in the caption, “The truth is that our modern lifestyle is not good for our health. Fried snacks, sweet treats and on-the-go meals have become the norm,” adding, “But the basics matter. Hydration, protein, fiber and real, healthy foods can be a game changer.
According to the nutritionist, you can take care of the essentials simply by making these small changes in your life:
- Drink 3 liters of water per day.
- Add quality protein to every meal.
- Eat enough fruits and vegetables for essential fiber.
- Reduce processed foods.
“It’s about developing lasting habits. Small changes make a big difference over time. Start today: your future self will thank you,” concludes Anjali Mukerjee.
