DALLAS, January 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Leader in modern golf entertainment Topgolf announced today that it has inaugurated the construction of a two-level site located Grande Prairie, Texaswhich is scheduled to open at the end of 2025. It will be the 15thth place in Texas and the fifth in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
The basics
- Have you never been to a Topgolf site? Think of it as a modern golf experience where everyone – including people who have never picked up a golf club and those who want to perfect their swing – can participate in the sport in a relaxed, pressure-free environment.
- Topgolf Grand Prairie will be located south of IKEA at 3670 South State Highway 161.
- Once open, the venue will employ around 300 playmakers (i.e. employees) – think bay hosts, bartenders, senior ball boys, etc.
It’s golf
- Topgolf Grand Prairie will have 80 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays spread across two levels. Each bay will be equipped with lounge-style furniture or high tables where groups can encourage – or heckle – other players.
- The venue will be equipped with Toptracer technology, which traces the flight path, distance and other metrics of interest for each golf ball.
- Developed in partnership with SEGA®, the new game from Topgolf, Sonic the Hedgehog™brings fun to everyone! Players can aim at giant targets to hit springs, collect rings and take down badniks in iconic Sonic virtual environments, designed for all skill levels.
- Can’t swing a golf club to save your life? You will be in good company. Topgolf golf club, The sure thingis designed to make golf less difficult for beginners – or those whose game is simply not that great.
- Players will also be able to take lessons through Topgolf’s Coach program, led by the site’s Director of Education.
