Some salami products Under the REA and Bona brands are recalled from three provinces On potential concerns salmonella contamination, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said.
According to a Food reminder Warning, Genoa Salami by Real Sweat and Genoa Salami Hot, as well as the slight Salami Genova de Bono of different sizes are recalled.
The agency said products may have been served by charcuterie meters with or without label or coding. The products have also been distributed in grocery stores, specialized markets, restaurants, cafes, cold meats and butchers.
The ECIA indicates that the products were distributed at Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario and were specifically recalled by Marini Foods Limited.
The recall was triggered by the results of the CFIA during its investigation into an epidemic of food.

The Canada Public Health Agency published a notice on Wednesday that at least 57 people – 44 in Alberta and 13 in Ontario – fell ill after eating Salami and seven people were hospitalized.
The Federal Agency said most people were sick between mid-April and at the end of May, after eating salami in prepared sandwiches or bought from charcuterie meters.
Canadians are invited not to eat, use, sell, serve or distribute products. If you think you fell ill of the consumption of the product, contact your health care provider.
“Food contaminated by salmonella may not look or a spoiled sensation, but can always make you sick,” notes the recall.
Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems could also contract serious or sometimes fatal infections.
Those who may have consumed products infected with salmonella may experience short -term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea.
