(Investigatetv) – New Nashville technologies, TN Emergency Communications Center could help the appellants in 911 get the answer they need more quickly.
The candidates can now hear and see what the caller 911 sees in real time via a platform called “prepared”.
“This new technology that we equip our emergency calls and our distributors we are definitely a game changer,” said James Matthews of the Ministry of Emergency Communications.
“Before having this new platform and this new tool, emergency telecommunicators had only what they heard in their ear,” said Matthews.
“We did not have the ability to connect with live video to see what the caller saw, so that you know, improve their response.”
