In a statement to Global News, a spokesman for Victoria’s Secret said that the company had “identified and took action to tackle a security incident”.
“We immediately promulgated our response protocols, third -party experts are engaged and we have deleted our website and certain store services as a precaution. We work to restore operations quickly and safe. We continue to serve customers in our stores Victoria’s Secret and Pink,” said the company.

Victoria’s Secret did not confirm Global News if user data has been compromised, including that of Canadian customers.
Trying to visit the company’s website, including its pink brand, is not currently possible Thursday morning.
The home page has an ordinary pink screen with a declaration to customers reading: “A appreciated customer, we have identified and take measures to resolve a security incident. We have deleted our website and certain store services as a precaution. Our team works 24 hours a day to fully restore operations.
Victoria’s Secret and Pink have approximately 1,350 stores combined in 70 countries and more than 30,000 employees, according to the company, and its shares are negotiated publicly on the New York Stock Exchange.
Thursday morning, the actions of Victoria’s Secret dropped by four percent.
