Vancouver police provided more details on the Lapu Lapu Festival Tragedy at a press conference on Monday afternoon.
On Sunday, police announced that 11 people died in the incident when an SUV went to a crowd of people on Saturday, just after 8 p.m.
Among the victims of the tragedy, nine of them are women and two are men, the Vancouver police sergeant. Steve Addison confirmed. The youngest victim, a five -year -old child, is a girl and the oldest, a 65 -year -old woman, is a man.
All except one live in the Metro Vancouver region.
“We are going to adopt an approach centered on the victim of the Traume … and we are not going to release their identity at the moment,” he said.

“We will provide information in due time.”
On Monday afternoon, seven people remain in critical condition at the hospital, three people are in serious condition and six are still admitted with fatal injuries.
Addison said there were more victims because some may not have received a treatment immediately or at all.

Kai-ji Adam Lo, 30, was accused of eight second degree murder leaders on Sunday.
He remains in detention, pending a hearing date. He was placed in police custody shortly after the incident on Saturday.
No new charge has been announced against LO on Monday.
Addison said they provided that additional charges would be deposited against LO in the coming days or weeks.
Addison said LO had been contacted with police in a neighboring court on April 25, one day before the attack. He said it was not a criminal nature and did not justify a trip to the hospital.

The crime scene remains active and may continue on Tuesday, a member confirmed.
On Sunday, a search warrant was executed at the Lo home in Vancouver and the agents continue to collect evidence.
An online portal was also created at VPD.ca So that people can download a passerby video that could help the investigation.
The Lapu Day festival took place on school land located near the 41st avenue and rue Fraser.
Thousands of people attended the event, including politicians and city officials.
