Kaiserslautern, Germany – The best Opportunities for Single Servicemembers (BOSS) program does not concern activities, this is a question of impact for soldiers. Built on three basic pillars – quality of life, community service and leisure – BOSS authorizes single soldiers by developing partnerships and providing support both on and for publication.
Boss offers soldiers the opportunity to engage in volunteer opportunities that give them a feeling of goal beyond their military functions while enjoying the communities they serve.
Recently, Armed Forces Entertainment gathered soldiers with a concert by Niko Moon, made possible partly behind the scenes of the behind the scenes provided by the volunteers of the Boss team.
“It was a great evening with good vibrations!” said PVT. Second -class Claudia Lujan.
“The boss plays an essential role in the formation of well-balanced and resilient soldiers,” said the 515th transport company. Abel Frédérique. “It’s more than just a program; It is a community and a support system that shows that the army cares about the well-being of its soldiers. ”
Tina Dunn, Baumholder Moral, Welfare, Civilian Advisor recreation, includes the unique challenges that have just been parked in a foreign country.
“These soldiers must adapt and overcome to become more professional, confident and ready to face any challenge,” said Dunn. “Assisting their growth makes me proud.”
Single soldiers from the whole footprint of the garrison are invited to celebrate the meaning of the community and the camaraderie supplied by Boss for the day of single soldiers, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Minnick Field, Smith Barracks, Baumholder.
