The schools of the County of Bladen celebrated its most brilliant young scientists at the district science and engineering fair, which was held yesterday at the district office. The talented students from 4th to 8th year presented their impressive projects, experiencing judges with their creativity, their research and their scientific ingenuity.
A panel of expert judges assessed projects, including Roy Corpening, a college retired science professor; Lee Anne Bryan, Information technology instructor; Charles Aiken, head of the NCDPI section for mathematics, sciences and stem; And Connie Kinlaw, a retired specialist in the K-5 Sciences program and secondary school science teacher.
After a meticulous deliberation, the winners were announced:

All the winners of the first place obtained the opportunity to compete at the Regional Science Fair, which will take place at the University of North Carolina in Pembroke on February 15.
