The troops who attended an address by President Donald Trump in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, were reportedly thrown on Tuesday for their appearance and political opinion.
The address, held to celebrate the week’s 250th anniversary week, included the president making partisan comments, requesting applause and discomfort of the uninformed public sitting as a backdrop behind the commander -in -chief.
According to Report by Militar.comThe messages obtained by the point of sale showed the cheating of the soldiers both for appearance and political trends.
A message simply said, “No big soldiers.”
Another message aimed to minimize the person who did not support the politically president.
“If soldiers have political opinions that oppose the current administration and they do not want to be in the public, they must speak with their leadership and be exchanged,” according to a Message of unit obtained by Military.com.
Trump attacked political rivals, notably former President Joe Biden and California Governor Gavin Newsom, who criticized Trump’s decision to deploy the National Army Guard and the Marines to repress demonstrations in Los Angeles against the federal immigration raids.
Many of his comments have received applause and hoots of public soldiers, expressing political opinions in uniform – which would often lead to a reprimand.
“It was a bad week for the army for anyone cares about our neutral institution”, The commander of Fort Bragg told Military.com under cover of anonymity to avoid reprisals. “It was shameful. I do not expect nothing to know, but I hope maybe we can learn from it in the long term. ”
Social networks have also shown that soldiers buy clothes and articles with pro-Trump and Conservative messages, such as “Make America Great Again”.
The items of certain positions were sold by 365 Campaign, a company based in Oklahoma which sells pro-Trump and Conservative memories.
Colonel Mary Ricks, spokesperson for Fort Bragg, said Military.com that “the presence of the seller is being examined to determine how it has been authorized and prevent similar events in the future”.
Army Times contacted Ricks on Thursday for additional comments on soldiers’ screening allegations. The spokesperson did not immediately respond.
