A A small plane crashed In a district of Sim Valley, California on Saturday afternoon, killing two people and a dog aboard the plane and damaging two houses, the authorities said.
The firefighters responded and the police completed the streets, warning people to stay away from the area. Smoke could be seen escape from the roof of a house in the Wood Ranch Ranch section of the community, which is located nearly 50 miles (80 kilometers) in the northwest of Los Angeles.
The wreck could be seen between the two houses. The fire service of the county of Ventura confirmed that the residents were inside at the time, but said that they had evacuated without injuries. The two houses underwent structural damage and were affected by the fire, the authorities said.
About 40 firefighters were on the scene. With the flames, they started working on recovery.

Officials initially reported a death. Later on Saturday, the Sim Valley police department said that the pilot, a passenger and a plane dog had died.
On Sunday, the authorities had published no information on the occupants of the RV-10 of the unique motor van, which is a popular plane built by the house sold in the form of a kit. Nor did they say what could have caused the accident.

An investigator of the National Transportation Safety Board was also on the scene on Saturday. NTSB spokesperson Peter Knudson said that once the plane wreck is documented, it is transferred to a secure installation for a more in-depth assessment.
Investigators will also affect the plane maintenance files, weather forecasts, recordings of all air traffic control communications, witness declarations, the driver’s history and any surveillance video that could have captured the plane.
In January, another RV-10 of Van crashed in a warehouse in Fullerton, southeast of Los Angeles, while trying to make an emergency landing, killing the pilot and his teenage girl and injuring 19 people in the building. A preliminary report published by the NTSB said that the plane seemed to have had an enthusiasm of the door during the flight.
It will probably take weeks before the NTSB published preliminary results on the Simi valley crash. A final report occurs from months later.
