In An interview with Here is and now Robin YoungHe said that Democrats must set up candidates who can channel the anger of voters who are worried about President Trump’s recent measures.
“I think that support for this right program, which does not only concern authoritarianism and oligarchy, it is a proposal that will give, if it is adopted, more than 1 billion of dollars of tax alternatives in the upper 1% and will allow massive cuts in Medicaid, nutrition, housing and other programs,” said Sanders. “If you ask that, I suppose that 80 to 90% of Americans think that it is completely crazy. So, I think in fact, in many ways, the Trump administration is now on the defensive with their pricing policies, which will increase prices. On the concerns of the Democrats that the party has moved too much to the left and must listen to more
Senator Bernie Sanders: Well, of course, the party must listen more. There are a lot to be proud. They paved the way to the right for women to control their own body, which is attacked at the moment, has paved the way for homosexuals, has paved the way for the fight against fanaticism in general civil rights, but I will tell you what Democrats should not be proud: and it is in the richest country in world history, 60% of the American people living.
In America Today, a guy, Elon Musk, has more wealth than 53% of American households. We are the only large country on Earth that does not guarantee health care for everyone despite spending twice as much as most countries. Sixty thousand people a year die because they do not go to a doctor in time. In other words, what the Democratic Party did not pay attention to the working class, and they paid a political price for that.
