The Palm Springs cultural center announces Fridays gourmets with bites, drinks, entertainment

Need something fun to do a Friday evening? The Palm Springs Cultural Center just has the thing for gourmets, moviegoers and more.

On Fridays Gourmets, a new food event, takes place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Friday at the cultural center, located at 2300 E. Baristo Road. The weekly rally starts this Friday with a number of local sellers and food trucks and southern California, as well as entertainment inside the center itself.

What is gourmet Fridays?

Fridays Goodies start on Friday evening at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.

Foodie Fridays is a brand new night market for the Palm Springs Cultural Center, according to Lindsay Jordan, director of the Palm Springs Farmers Market, which also takes place in the center.

“There is nothing to do on Friday evening in Palm Springs if you don’t want to go to a bar or go dinner in a restaurant,” said Jordan. “In this way, you can come and have a cocktail, see a film, watch live music, spend time with the family.”

Located in the cultural center parking lot, a variety of food trucks and sellers will be installed. Entrance to gourmet Fridays is free, and Jordan said that sellers’ prices vary between $ 9 and $ 15.

An outdoor bar will also be installed so that cocktails and other libations can be appreciated. Heating tables and lamps will be available to provide a more comfortable atmosphere.

Fridays are also aimed at families, with activities available for the youngest of residents.

According to the participation rate, Jordan said that gourmet Fridays can also integrate thematic markets to support food sellers. In work, a vinyl disc market.

The first sellers and catering trucks who will participate in gourmet Fridays include:

Additional sellers should be added in the future.

What shows the Palm Springs cultural center?

Goodies Fridays are not the only thing available at the cultural center on Friday evening because a multitude of films, shows and live performance are generally displayed on the marquee.
