The rain obtained the best of Carson McCusker on Monday evening.

McCusker intervened on the plate on the second round of the Minnesota Twins match with the Cleveland Guardians while the decent rain fell on Target Field in Minneapolis. But when the right defender went to swing on a field, well, McCusker has completely lost control of the bat.

It was not just a little either. McCusker sent his battle absolutely flight. The bat done along the left field, where it was calmly rested when everyone was slowly achieving what had happened. While the players of Guardians were going to recover it, McCusker and the marble referee stood there while laughing.

Oops.

To make the situation even better, McCusker had just been called to the twins of their Triple-A affiliate on Saturday. On Monday was only his second match in the big leagues. But, at McCusker’s credit, it would most likely have been one if he had actually contacted the ball instead of trying to cut the corners with his bat.

Finally, McCusker struck the eye. The match was tied 1-1 at the time, but Willi Castro struck a double RBI later in the Channel to put the twins by a race. At the end of the third round, however, the officials decided that they had enough and sent the match in a lagging behind. The match was canceled for the day and will resume Tuesday at 5:10 p.m. CT, with match 2 of the series to follow.

The Twins participated in the Monday competition with a 26-21 file. They also won 13 of their last 14 times, after their impressive victory sequence ended on Sunday when the Brewers Milwaukee defeated them, 5-2. The Guardians, on the other hand, entered the match on Monday on a losing skipping of four games.

While McCusker hopes to take things with his new club, the Monday drum incident was an incredible way for him to launch his time with the twins.
