Today’s claim to healing seems to involve a special ingredient inaccessible for magic results in the form of a pill or digital artificial intelligence programs for lifestyle changes. Can changes in lifestyle can be the best protocol for long-term results, but to what extent are the lifestyle changes without change of change in your environment?
Chemical or substance dependence, slow metabolic rates, thyroid dysfunction, chronic fatigue and even joint pain can all be symptoms of chronic stress and depression.
Are horses the key ingredient for a healthier lifestyle? Centaur Stride now offers a free chance to see for yourself.
Centaur Stride recently received a small subsidy to raise awareness of this potential through presentations and clinics. A calendar has been established and free for the public thanks to a charitable M&T sponsorship subsidy.
Please love and follow our Facebook page, Centaur Stride Therapeutic Riding Center, to keep themselves informed of these clinics, which take place in the establishment of 8488 Jones Road in Sherman.

Another event entitled Posture Partners is planned for this week.
The advantages of therapeutic horse riding cover the spectra of physical, cognitive and psychosocial areas.

They do all this at the same time, working in synergy, facilitating several biological brain activation systems and the responses that would take combined efforts of so many different disciplines, activities or therapies in a coordinated manner to make similar improvements. This simultaneous synergy allows instant integration of body systems. This is why the results are so much faster with horses.
These clinics require that you leave the house for something that can be pleasant and exciting, free, requires exercise (even if it seems passive), offers education on personal care and has networking potential and to make new friends with common life experiences.
Our first presentation and our clinic (using horses) aimed at treating caregivers: the human connection clinic on horseback – how to facilitate ignition and stress, with guest presenter Dena Garfield. Using yoga, equine assisted activities and meditation, it focuses on mental health.
The second clinic is scheduled for Tuesday from 10:30 am to noon, entitled Posture Partners. It is limited to 12 people, and again intended for caregivers. We experience times for clinics, and if there is an interest but there are time conflicts, please let us know. This clinic will be presented by the physiotherapist, Claudia Monroe. The protruding facts of the presentation focus on the treatment of your back. With the McKenzie method, awareness and movement therapy, appropriate lifting techniques and therapeutic horse riding, participants will learn techniques to relieve or prevent back pain. Participants must wear long pants, comfortable clothes and closed -end shoes, preferably those that bind or riding boots (no sandals).
Who would have thought that riding a horse can relieve back pain? What about going up and down! Centaur Stride has a hydraulic elevator to go up and down and the horses are well trained. Back pain can occur from a number of causes and all require rehabilitation with certain similarities in their protocols. The only constant is that pain is a warning sign. The basic force and appropriate lifting techniques, especially for those who continually raise people for transfers, are vital. The special equipment for the task is also very important. Posture and alignment have a significant impact on the risk of injury.
As incredible that the horse promotes appropriate posture and alignment. The three -dimensional movement of the horse stimulates movement in the human basin with automatic reactions throughout the body to improve posture, stimulate activation of trunk muscles, increase blood flow and help regulate heart rate and digestion.
Sitting on a horse in motion does not look like a lot of work, but if you have never riding a horse, you have an experience in physical activity that awaits you. In addition to activating the muscles, it extends and relaxes at the rate of rhythm. The behavior without judgment of the horse opens the way to a mirror effect where the horse detects the emotional needs of the rider and reacts with a truly indulgent nature and a desire to please. If only humans, the most intelligent species of the earth, could do it!
The most important factor in treating your own back and preventing injuries is education and monitoring. This clinic could change your life. To register, call the barn at 716 326-4318 or access our Facebook page and use the link to register.
In our installation, the safety of runners and horses is essential. There are precautions and contraindications to horse riding. There is information we need to know to make an assessment of who can put our horses in our center. We now have an equicizer (mechanical horse activated by the rider). The freedman has several advantages, including preparing a living horse and evaluating security.
For all our clinics, there will be a registration waiting list for future repeated clinics depending on interest.
Help us continue to help others by giving Chq 716 to give a big on June 12. Thank you for your support.
