Gulfport, Miss. (Wlox) – Hippie Fish, a new family entertainment center, opened its doors in Gulfport on Thursday, June 26.
A ribbon cup ceremony took place at 10 a.m. to celebrate the new addition to the Centennial Plaza Resort.

“It was a work of love,” said Centennial Plaza Director General Randy Fanugao. “It’s emotional, we have made a lot of effort. My team did an excellent job, and we are delighted with what’s going on. ”
Hippie Fish includes an arcade, a mini golf and a full -service restaurant.
The two -story arch has more than 130 games, and the two golf courses have 18 holes.
Tessy Lambert, the director of marketing of Lodging & Leisure Investments, explained where the unique name of the new place came from.
“We were looking for something that was a little coastal, a little nostalgic and many exciting, and Hippie Fish was born,” said Lambert.
Hippie Fish has also created 60 new jobs.
“We are proud to add significant opportunities to the local workforce while building something fun and hardening for the community,” said Lambert.
The new family entertainment center is open to the public.
Hippie Fish is open Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
