The ship served as a McDonald’s restaurant on False Creek during Expo 86, but has been sitting in empty since.

Now it seems that he is heading towards the bottom of the Fraser river.

In 2017, The owner Howard Meakin told Global News That it was considering the McBarge as an installation which could highlight Canada’s progress in underwater and deep water technology.

However, these plans failed and the McBarge remained empty.

We do not know now who owns the ship. Global News contacted Meakin.
