If you go to the mind to February this year, you may remember a company called Lifestyle bikers that has hit the news – and for all the bad reasons.
This was the objective of a DVSA investigation, and was then pursued at Willesden Magistrates short and ordered to pay more than £ 10,000 in fines and costs.
Well, good news at the back of this work arrived in my reception box this morning, because the company was officially dissolved according to House companies.
In addition to selling dangerous helmets, DVSA has managed to continue the LIFESTYLE LTD bikers for the sale of motorcycle helmets which did not comply with the British safety standards required for eye protection. According to Gov.uk’s website, tests revealed that three out of four headsets from the company did not meet the catastrophically security requirements, with a helmet recording results which indicated a risk of 100% death in a collision.

The DVSA market monitoring unit has carried out tests in an independent laboratory specializing in motorcycle helmet tests.
The magistrates concluded that there was a high degree of guilt and determined that there was a high risk of damage to consumers. The lifestyle of bikers was also forced to remove all the non -compliant products from its range. Although the Biker lifestyle website is always live, as far as we can, each product registered indicates the words “sold” in parallel with the list, which means that they have been rebuilt and recycled.
Speaking of the news, Paul Varnsverry, technical director, PVA PPE Group, said:
“”The accusation of Lifestyle Limited bikers was vital, given the serious nature of its conduct. It is not clear if the financial burden of the fine, legal costs and customer reimbursements has led to the dissolution of the company, or if the liquidation has been used as a means of eliminating payment. In a similar case involving motorcycle clothes, administrators had to personally adjust the penalties or cope with imprisonment. It remains to be seen whether the director in this case will be called back to court to pay or face caustion consequences.
“There is an increasing problem of traders thoroughs selling dangerous products via social networks. Negotiation standards have intervened in certain cases, commanding clothing reminders to wrongly claim CE certification, however, consumers must also remain vigilant. Long -standing and renowned retailers with verifiable physical presence.”
