Maryland – A concept of high-tech entertainment that is new in Maryland will open this month on avenue in White Marsh.
Activate, a game installation company based in Winnipeg, Canada, will move into the old import space of Pier 1 on the avenue, on Honeygo Boulevard and opposite the White Marsh Mall. It will offer 13 high -tech playgrounds that mix physical activity and games, such as Mega Grid, Mega Laser and Strike and Control, some of which have become viral on Tiktok.
In Mega Grid, for example, players are counting on speed, coordination, and communication and communication to walk or avoid some of the hundreds of LED soil tiles sensitive to touch. Players can choose between cooperative or competitive modes, progress through levels and follow the achievements.
Activate, started in 2017, announced its intention in October to accelerate an American expansion to bring 50 new locations to 21 states, thanks to a partnership with Sound Fun Entertainment based in Lexington, Kentucky.
