East Greensboro, NC (March 20, 2025) – The John R. and Kathy R. Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences of the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will host its second annual week on health and human sciences (HHS) to celebrate the disciplines of disciplines to the development of labor, research and commitment of the community.
HHS Week will include a series of engaging and interactive sessions, networking opportunities and practical experiences designed to hire students, teachers and the community.
A Professional Pathways series will start the week on Monday March 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., industry professionals will lead workshops to present to students career opportunities in the health and human sciences while helping them to sail in the field as professionals. The subjects will include:
- Maximize your career path: networking and professional growth strategies
- Essential skills for emerging leaders: building a solid base for success
- Preparation for career and transition of labor: fill the gap from college to career
- Empower your career: strengthen confidence, embrace growth and learn at work
A graduate and professional school exhibition is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Bal deese at the Student Center, where representatives of the graduate and professional school programs will share information and information.
Wednesday, March 26, a shopping window on research innovation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Student Center ballroom, where undergraduate students and higher cycles will present their research and participate in the poster competition for research innovation innovation to present their research projects on teachers.
The Center of Excellence for Integutive Health Disappritities and Equity Research (CIHDER) is organizing its second annual symposium on health equity, “Team Science: The Key to Farcing Health Equity”, Thursday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Deese’s ballroom in the Student Center. Its objective is to initiate the NC A&T community and the surroundings, presenting community partnerships and the hit work of the affiliates of Cihder teachers and the students involved in the disparity in health matters and research on actions. This event will also offer possibilities for networking and interdisciplinary collaboration with local, regional and state communities, as well as present community organizations. Register here. The week ends on Friday March 28, with a wellness day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Holland Bowl outside the Dutch residence. This event will offer a variety of well-being activities, including physical condition challenges sponsored by Phi Epsilon Kappa, therapeutic coloring stations, puppy children, food trucks, online dance and a live DJ.
