Rockford, ill. (WIFR) – The Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) announced its 2025-2029 strategic plan on Monday, January 27, was approved.
With its approval comes the unveiling of the way in which the GRCC plans to promote the economic growth of Rockford companies.
The plan has seven “key initiatives” intended to develop local businesses.
- Strengthen the retention capacity of companies and expansion to ensure the long -term success of local businesses.
- Coordinate collaboration efforts to attract new businesses in the County of Winnebago, positioning the region as a large -scale destination for growth.
- Establish the RCBC as a proactive voice in pro-enterprise advocacy, actively influencing policies and initiatives that benefit members.
- Develop leadership and labor through targeted training, best practices, recognition and networking opportunities.
- Reinvent the communications and publications of GRCC to become a reliable and confident source of news and commercial information.
- Go to Gorockford and the connection of the workforce to meet the current and future needs of the workforce, improving the talent pipeline.
- Productivity, efficiency and innovation design systems to model profitability and performance excellence.
“The conduct of these initiatives is a set of quarterly priorities and objectives in 2025,” said Angela Kay Larson, chief executive officer of GRCC, “it is the directives that describe the daily work of the staff and we hold ‘Origin of our obligations towards our obligations towards the Board of Directors, members and volunteers. »»
