Arlington, Texas – The Grand Canyon climbed in the lead in the general classification of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Commissioner of Western Conference (WAC) after the 2025 winter competition season (Complex Complex of Commissioner WAC 2024-25 WAC))
The WAC attributes its Cup of the School Commissioner who best makes a countable 14 of the 20 sponsored sports for men and women of the conference of an academic year. The points are allocated by an overall score based on the regular season and / or the championship finishes according to the sport and the number of institutions which sponsor the sport. An institution that does not sponsor a specific sport receives no point.
Only the regular season was counted for the sports of male and female basketball during the winter of 2025. For swimming and diving and diving and athletics sports, the points were determined using the results of the WAC championship according to the Sports rating system. The affiliates are used as a space reserved in the classification or the results of the championship, but are not noted in the general classification of the commissioner. The Grand Canyon obtained an AQ NCAA in male and female basketball and received two bonus points for each AQ.
The Grand Canyon recorded 69.9 points to update the winter cup classification thanks to the conference championships on male athletics and basketball. The Lopes were the regular season and the tournament champion in women’s basketball to capture the 11 complete points, and GCU finished second in the regular male basketball season before claiming bonus points after a third consecutive WAC tournament title.
Utah Valley recorded with 69.0 points and second in the ranking after defending the athletics crown in the women’s room of the conference and won a regular seasonal championship in male basketball. Wolverines have added the titles of the regular cross -country season and women of the regular season of women in the fall aisle.
California Baptist was in third place solo with 64.3 points after winter, on the strength of a cross-country victory of the Male Fall Conference and an offer of the NCAA team championships and a victory for the women’s football tournament.
