Rocker In the county of Pictou, the NS thinks that a vehicle involved in a deadly home in 1985 can still be somewhere in Nova Scotia – And they hope for new technologies, and a public call will finally provide answers.
Anthony Gerard Burke, 29, was killed after being hit by a car on Wellington Street in Pictou, ns on March 27, 1985. The driver fled and was never identified.
Burke had been at a gathering with friends in a Wellington Street house but had left the residence after an altercation at home.

The RCMP said that a few moments later, Burke was hit by a vehicle.
A passing motorist witnessed the incident and attended Burke, who died of his injuries by the road, according to the RCMP.
The suspect vehicle has been described as a blue car, perhaps an AMC Gremlin.
“We have reasons to believe that the car could still be somewhere in the province,” said CST. Daniel Ronaghan with the County County RCMP.
“We re-test the exhibitions we have entered at the time using modern technology at our disposal now.
The RCMP has published a video telling the story of Burke, hoping that it will lead someone to present information.
Burke’s daughter Shauna Collier said that in the RCMP video, that she hopes that speech will encourage someone to break her silence.
“For 40 years, I have lived with unanswered questions. His life was counting, ”she said.
