La Crosse (WKBT) – Students from schools in the butt region experienced the sciences in action during the annual “Fired for Science” event at Viterbo University, where interactive experiences and demonstrations have given life to scientific principles.

The popular program, now in its 16th year, invited young learners to the campus for an evening of practical scientific activities designed to arouse curiosity and enthusiasm for STEM subjects.

The participants witnessed spectacular demonstrations, in particular experiences on dry ice, reactions of elephant toothpaste and soda and mentos that appeal to the crowd.

Viterbo teachers guided students through the scientific principles of each demonstration, explaining chemical reactions, physical properties and the scientific method in a way that captivated the young audience.

The event transforms complex scientific concepts into memorable visual experiences that resonate with students of all ages.
