The cousin of an international student killed by an wandering ball in Hamilton last week said that the family is devastated by the tragic loss.
Balraj Singh says that the parents of Harsimrat Randhawa cannot eat or sleep after receiving the news from the death of their only daughter.
Hamilton police said Randhawa, a 21 -year -old Mohawk college student from India, was an innocent spectator killed when the occupants of a vehicle shot another when she was waiting for a bus stop on Thursday evening.

Singh says Randhawa came to Canada two years ago in search of a better life, and she wanted to open her own physiotherapy clinic after obtaining her university diploma.
He says that his cousin was a very kind person who was “brilliant” in his studies.
Chintan Darji, a graduate of Mohawk college who organized a vigil where Randhawa was shot, said that he was “broken heart” by his death.
Police said the investigation is continuing and that they are asking anyone with information on the shooting.
