Film entertainment hired Andy KimA senior manager of Participant Media, to serve as a director of the farm.
In his new article, Kim will supervise all daily operations, strategic planning, commercial development and finances of the independent entertainment company. He joined as the films benefits from a wave of critical and commercial success, in particular the support of the winner of the Cannes Film Festival in 2024 by Sean Baker, Palme d’Or “Anora” and the best winner of the film BAFTA D ‘Edward Berger, “Conclave”. The film produces, finances and distributes films, television series, podcasts and theater. He supported successes like “The Big Sick” and “Arrival”, “I know this is true” by HBO, and the “stereophonic” winning of Tony. Filmnation is also the house of Infrared, a new film production label focused on films with franchise potential. The first production of Infrared, “Novocaine” with Jack Quaid, opens in March.
