The ECU technological systems department hosts the transfer day

Greenville, NC (WITN) – Systems in the Department of Technology at the East Carolina University will today organize an event for instructors, administrators and local students to learn more about their programs.

The school’s baccalaureate in industrial technology school sciences (BSIT) and the day of transfer of technological systems begins this morning in the 9th row at the Murphy Center.

The event, sponsored by NC East Alliance, is free for community college instructors, leadership and students to have an overview of the BSIT of ECU program.

The program is recognized nationally and ideal for students and adult learners with a technical or industrial diploma in applied sciences who seek to stimulate their careers with a four -year diploma.

The event recording begins at 8:30 am. Dr. Harry Ploehn, dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, and Dr. Allen Guidry, provost of learning operations, will welcome guests at 9 a.m.

The event will offer information sessions covering all programs and concentrations, transfer specific information to ECU, online and face -to -face educational options, support information for students and more.

Visits to laboratories and classrooms in the science and technology building will be 1:30 p.m. from 1:30 p.m.

Specific information for veterans, the admission process and an unofficial table of transfer evaluations will be available during today’s event.

The ECU claims that representatives of more than 30 community colleges from the whole state should attend.

The ECU technological systems department also offers undergraduate diplomas in design, distribution and logistics, industrial engineering technology and information and cybersecurity technology.

Study diploma options include network technology, labor security and technology management.
