When asked if Governor Kathy Hochul thought that federal surveys on several eminent New Yorkers are political, she said: “Hell yeah”.

James’ lawyer said this month, the investigation focuses on what he calls without foundation and discredited allegations.
The same Ministry of Justice abandoned a case of corruption against the mayor of New York, Eric Adams,which arises for a second term. They quoted the desire to release Adams to cooperate with the repression of immigration from the Trump administration.
“Pam Bondi, one of the first, I think she was the new general prosecutor, she stood up and said that she was launching an investigation and putting accusations against me for a law that we have in New York. Now, she overestimated her. She did not charge, she simply filed civil disputes, so I had to report her lack of understanding that the law was very disturbing,” said Hochul on Wednesday. “That said, she came after me. They come after the Attorney General. They come after a candidate for the mayor.”
Hochul refers to Bondi’s legal efforts against the so-called state law This prevents the federal immigration application from being able to access the information that the DMV of the State has on immigrants without legal status.
Hochul was the Lieutenant-Governor of Cuomo for six years before succeeding him when he resigned in 2021.
“I suggest that (the doj) focuses on the basic mission and stops targeting democrats here in New York,” added Hochul.
