Mayor Tracy Honea said the project has been planning for more than a decade. He thanked Spurlin for “never giving birth and to keep this development – not only alive – but brought him from concept to reality”.
“An entertainment center for this caliber will be an excellent improvement in the quality of life in our city,” said Hineea. “It will be a complement to Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater, Lucas Cinemas and the other exceptional family entertainment and hospitality options.”
Spurlin thanked the officials of the city of Albertville, as well as the director of economic development Mike Price and its partner Bill Kellen.
“We are delighted to see this project finally become a reality after years of planning and collaboration. The citizens of Albertville deserve a safe and family entertainment center – one with several places that people of all ages can appreciate, “said Spurlin.
