Royalty Con, an event scheduled for February at the Lancaster County Convention Center, was canceled.
The convention celebrating trail and queer culture was scheduled for February 21 to 23. Carson Kressley, actor of the new version of CBS of “Hollywood Squares” and “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” “was to appear as a guest. Drag Permanters Sapphira Cristal (“RuPaul’s Drag Race” appearances, season 16) and Landon Cider (“The Boulet Brothers” Dragula “, season 3).
The organizers shared news from cancellation on the event’s Facebook page.
“Unfortunately, there have been too many challenges that have been too difficult to overcome, and we could not produce an event that would respond to ours and communities (sic),” said the post.
